Is This Class Right For You?

These classes are a great fit if you:

  • Feel stiff, tight, or limited in certain movements

  • Lift, run, play sports and want better mobility

  • Sit a lot for work and feel “rusty”

  • Are coming back from injury and want to build confidence in your joints

  • Are hypermobile and feel “loose but unstable,” and want more strength and control instead of just more stretching

You do not need to be flexible, fit, or pain-free to start.

Everything in class can be scaled to your level, and the focus is on building strong, controlled range of motion — not forcing yourself into extreme positions.

What are Vigour Mobility Classes?

Vigour Mobility classes are group fitness classes designed to:

  1. Improve active and passive ranges of motion in your body’s most important joints

  2. Improve motor control and balance throughout your body

  3. Increase strength and resilience in your joints and tissues most vulnerable to common injuries

  4. Learn more about how your body moves and what it needs

  5. Have fun!

These are mobility and stretching classes with a strength focus – perfect if you feel stiff, tight, or limited and want more than just passive stretching.

What to expect in a Vigour Mobility Class

  • Intentional stretching to improve flexibility and get comfortable in a variety of positions

  • Targeted mobility drills to improve coordination and motor control of your joints

  • Active end-range strength work to build resilience in your most vulnerable positions

  • Movements and positions that are fully modifiable, so classes are challenging and effective for all levels and all body types

  • If you’re hypermobile, we’ll emphasize control and strength at the edges of your range, not chasing bigger range for its own sake.
